I’m looking for a place in Atlanta Ga that will deliver moving boxes the week before Christmas. My family and I are going to make an effort to pack over the holidays and I’m going to need a bunch of boxes. I’m running all over Atlanta trying to get things together and buy everything I’m going to need for Christmas so I don’t have time to make 10 trips to pick up moving boxes. Any suggestions??

First of all why do you need to make ten trips. Find a company that sells boxes, buy what you need and take them home. Why pay extra to have someone deliver what you can easily take home in the back of your car.

Any box you buy is going to be flat so they take up no room at all in your car. Even if you had a Civic you could put 50 moving boxes in your car.

I really don’t have any money right now (not even $1 per box) and I’ll be moving at the end of next month. The S.A.Q. used to give boxes, but don’t anymore. Is there anywhere else I can go to grab some boxes?
@Kiss Me Kate: The S.A.Q. is a liquor store. As I said, they don’t offer free boxes anymore.

go to a liquor store and ask if you can have their boxes from their next delivery day. and when they tell you what time-be there on time cuz they don’t want to store them…

I am wanting to ship some things from New Zealand to America. I’ve been living in NZ for 4 years and I’m going to be moving back to America next year for some time. I will probably pack some boxes to send filled with: clothing, books, Nintendo, DVDs, papers,guitar and other odds and ends. Nothing to flash or huge, but mostly personal things.

I don’t know what my options are for shipping from NZ to USA, without just using the post office.

I’m sure you can use a carrier like FedEx or DHL. You can send it freight by ocean, and the delivery time is approx. 3 to 4 weeks . And they can bring it to your door. Remember if you pack them for freight they will be on one or two pallets, they will not get separated , if you sent them through FEDEX ,DHL or post office all the boxes will get separated when they travel, so you might be getting a delivery for a week straight and the biggest chance of having lost boxes.
