I’m leaving for university soon and i need to start packing up, does anybody know where i can get some free moving boxes?

My family is moving soon and we need to find some free cardboard boxes in the Monterey County (CA). If it’s outside the county then we’ll only be able to go as far as Watsonville, California.

Try your local freecycle.org group. I see people on there daily either asking for them or giving them away after their move around here. The general rule is that you should give something away first before you ask for something, but I bet if you post a "WANTED" you’ll have free boxes by the end of the day. Check it out!
