I need moving boxes. Where’s the best place to buy them?

I need 20-30 standard sized moving boxes for a short move across town. I have always bought them at a UHaul store, but I’m not sure that’s the best price. Any recommendations?

I live in Decatur, GA.

most of the time you can look in the phone book under cardboard or boxes and find places to buy boxes. you might even find a place that supplies the u-haul and get boxes at cost. I just ordered some cardboard containers on line. I would only suggest online service if you have a week or so to wait. Try Yellow Pages

Any grocery store will give them to you for free. I love McDonald’s fry boxes. They are strong and sturdy. However, if you insist on spending your money, most storage unit facilities sell moving boxes.

Don’t buy them. Get them from appliance stores and grocery stores. They always have plenty of nice sturdy boxes.

Some Storage places sell boxes. Try calling some in your town and see if they sell boxes.

I would just go to the grocery/liquor store and get there used boxes. No cost, and you can get heavy duty ones as well. Good luck moving!

forget buying them. go to the grocery stores and department stores. they will give them to you for free. you may have to ask one day and pick them up the next day. if they know you want them, they will usally hold them for you.

Try your local printing store, their paper boxes have removable lids that are great for storage after you move. That is what we used, they were fantastic, plus they were free :) The other place we have bought them is at UHaul, that seems to be the best place (at least around here :) )

Don’t buy them! You can get boxes from grocers, liquor stores, KMart or any store that has products and must pay to have them taken away!
They are happy to give them away. Just stop by and ask, I’ll bet you they’ll gladly save some for you.
